What is the difference between the UWS location & the UES location? 

At our Upper West Side location, you’ll find 9 Allegro Reformers, creating a vibrant and energetic class environment. Over at our Upper East Side location, we have 4 Allegro Reformers, offering a more personalised and private experience. We look forward to welcoming you to whichever setting feels right for you!

Can I use one package for both locations? 

Each location operates with its own pricing structure. Packages and credits are location-specific and cannot be transferred between locations

I am new to Pilates. What class should I take? 

Beginner Reformer would be the most suitable class. Please let us know when booking that you are new to Pilates. Please arrive 10 minutes before class for an introduction to the equipment and props. If you are late for class you will be unable to take class. 

I am recovering from an injury/ surgery. Can I take class? 

Yes. At NM Studio we take pride that we have classes for all. Our goal is to feel the burn but safely. All of our teachers are highly trained and equipped to teach a class that’s safe for everyone. Please let us know of any injury/surgery when booking, and inform the teacher before starting your class.

I am pregnant. What class should I take? 

All of our teachers are highly trained and certified in Pre & Postnatal exercises. Please let us know you are pregnant when booking, and inform the teacher before starting your class. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class to have an open discussion with the teacher about how you are feeling. Please share what you do or do not feel comfortable doing. This allows the teacher time to give you modifications or props, ensuring a great experience that is catered to your needs.

Prenatal Reformer – Suitable for all trimesters 

Beginner Reformer – Suitable for all trimesters 

Intermediate Reformer – Suitable for 1st trimester

How often should I take classes? 

You are welcome to take as many classes as you would like. We highly recommend taking 2-3 classes a week to see body changes and results. 

Do you offer packages? 

Yes we have the following packages: 

Single Class – Valid for 30 Days 

5 Class Package – Valid for 45 Days 

10 Class Package – Valid for 56 Days 

Can I purchase an Intro Pack? 

Intro packages are only valid for new clients to NM Studio. If we are made aware that more than one Intro Pack has been purchased by one individual, you will be charged singularly for extra classes taken. 

Can I pause or extend my package?

We do not offer extensions or refunds on packages 

Can packages be shared? 

You can not share your package. Packages are for one singular individual 

What is your cancellation policy?  

All classes must be cancelled online before 12 hours of your scheduled class. Any cancellations made after 12 hours will be classed as a late cancellation and you will be charged for the class or credit deduction. 

If you cancel before 12 hours you will receive a credit to use for your next class. 

How do I book Pilates classes? 

We are a cashless studio. Classes can only be bought online. Please ensure the location tab on our Book and Buy page is set to the correct location where you would like to take your class. To purchase classes please click this link Book & Buy Classes

How far in advance can I book classes? 

You can book classes up to a month in advance. 

I am on a waitlist. Will I be able to take class? 

Our system will automatically add you to class and notify you via email and text if a spot becomes available. Once you have been added into class and notified, our cancellation policy will apply. 

You will not be charged for a class until you are added into class. If you are on the waitlist, but now no longer able to make class, please remove yourself from the waitlist.

Can I switch my reservation to a different day or time? 

Yes, you can switch your reservation at any point. If you cancel outside the 12 hour cancellation window, you will not be charged for the change. If you switch your class within the 12 hour window, it would be classed as a late cancellation and you will be required to pay for another class. 

Do you offer Private Pilates Sessions?

I am a First Responder, in the Military, teacher, student; how do I receive a discount?  

Please email us at studioassistant@nmstudionyc.com or text us with proof of ID. Once verified, you will receive a discount code that can be applied during check-out.

Do you offer bookings for birthday parties or events?  

Yes, please connect with us via the “contact” form listed on our website. 

What should I wear? 

Please wear comfortable clothing and sticky socks. Footwear is not allowed in the studio. 

Are socks required? 

In order to take class, grip socks are required. If you happen to forget your socks, not to worry, NM Studio socks are available to purchase. 

What amenities does your studio offer? 

No personal items are allowed in the Pilates room. Our studio has lockers (which lock) and cubbies for personal items. There are private restrooms, which can also be used as changing rooms. We also sell bottled water.
